A Pink Moon & Jupiter

April's full moon is called the Pink Moon. Not because it's pink, but because pink phlox blooms this month. Here are my attempts.

Jupiter is now visible to the right of the moon! Do you see it up in the corner?

Here are my pathetic attempts at Jupiter. Why do all my planet shots look like pizzas?

“I look up at your macro-skies, dark and enormous, your handmade sky-jewelry, Moon and stars mounted in their settings. Then I look at my micro-self and wonder, Why do you bother with us? Why take a second look our way?

Just beautiful!!! I'm going out to look at the moon in a minute - right before I go to bed!

Beautiful moon shots. I can only admire the moon with my eyes. My mobile phone camera can't take good shots of the moon.

To answer your question on my post, my fig plants are not fruiting yet. I am waiting to eat the fruits fresh from the plants.

I saw Jo's shots of the Pink moon and commented that bob said why is it called the pink moon when it is not pink. now I can tell him... makes sense, since harvest moon is because of harvest time.... I wonder who named it pink because the moon is over the whole world and the flowers would not be blooming every where and neither would harvest... now I have something else to ponder

As usual these are just amazing. I tried the other morning to get a picture of the moon but by the time I got out with my camera it was behind some clouds.
The mints in my post were made with butter, corn syrup and powdered sugar
