After The Rain

It had rained on Monday morning, so I knew there would be a beautiful sunset. I was ready! Come and watch it with me.

We often praise the evening clouds,
And tints so gay and bold,
But seldom think upon our God,
Who tinged these clouds with gold.

I was too fast on that publish button as I meant to say how much I enjoyed the poem from Walter Scott :)

just gorgeous, the four in the middle that are orange are my favorites. storms do make wonderful sunsets and sunrises... we only got under an inch out of the rain here, but the ones north of us were flooded

Wow Ginny!!! I'm glad you were 'ready' and waiting for the 'action'....it's all so breathtaking.

PS...no, it wasn't the moorhen and checks [not drowning either, it was tousling]...it was the American Coot that I wrote about a couple days ago. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

oops, typo. CHICKS, not checks
