Tiny House

A local high school had their design & engineering class build a tiny house this year! It sits in the school parking lot. When finished, it will be auctioned off and the money used to make a new tiny house next year. They seem to be all the rage now. By definition, a tiny house cannot be bigger than 400 square feet.

This family even showed off their tiny log cabin in a local parade we attended!

“It takes wisdom to build a house, and understanding to set it on a firm foundation; It takes knowledge to furnish its rooms with fine furniture and beautiful draperies.”
Romans 6

I know tiny houses are all the rage but I am not a fan!! I want space and I need space! I have too much STUFF for a little house - unless I could use it as a getaway - or a storage room!!

I love all the tiny houses on TV and could live in one only if I lived alone... this one is really cute... I saw one that they called a grandma pod, they attached a tiny house to the side of the house for grandma to live in.

If I am alone and old, I don't mind living in a tiny house. The tiny house looks cute!

I would need two tiny houses. One for me and hubby and one for my sewing room, lol... Starting out as newly weds I think it is a great idea. I watch them all the time on HG TV and think back to when hubs and I were first married. We could have lived in a tiny house while building or redoing a house. The thought never entered our minds back then. I think it would have been a lot of fun. Hugs, LJ

I wish I had a cute one instead of the one I have. Too much to keep clean.

What a cool project that is for them. I've seen some pretty amazing tiny houses but I don't know if I would like living in something that small.
Oh and that wreath I posted is already on my front door

This house does look good, but I don't think I could live in a space that small without getting claustrophobia.

The tiny houses fascinate me...but one would not hold all my sewing equipment and fabric!

What a great school project! I watch the tiny home show on the Home Garden Channel all the time. This could give the ones I see a run for their money. I love the log cabin design.
