A Trip To The Drive Thru

Remember the car hops who would deliver your food to your car? This is a beautiful old car, and it just happened to stop at the fast food place.

This guy was pretty hungry...

In fact, he was so skinny that he was just skin and bones. Without the skin...

I do hope he can gain a bit of weight. Perhaps extra fries with his meal?

“As I prophesied, there was a sound and, oh, rustling! The bones moved and came together, bone to bone. I kept watching. Sinews formed, then muscles on the bones, then skin stretched over them. But they had no breath in them.”

Ezekiel 37

Beyond The Grave

Our little cemetery is so pretty through the seasons. Today we went down the paths. Come with me!

“I will deliver this people from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death.”

A Little Tour

Come and walk around the neighborhood with me. It is full of decorations in October.

Of course the ever present big gold cat dresses for every occasion.

The sun was shining on this flag in someone's yard.

These happy pumpkins were blown up and lit up.

A psychedelic coffin?

“In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Golden

Gold literally pouring from our mountains.

“As gold comes from the northern mountains, so a terrible beauty streams from God.”

Gone Too Far?

I simply could NOT believe it. I am sad to say that this house is in our neighborhood. There are a lot of outdoor decorations for Halloween around here, but I think this one went too far. I think any small child who passes this house would be so scared, and have nightmares. To me, they crossed the line. What do YOU think? Am I being too hard on these people?

“Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, his blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we’re a free people—free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, either. Abundantly free!”
Ephesians 1

The Many Faces Of Pumpkins

We had our girls on Saturday! The first thing we did was decorate these small pumpkins.

Here are some other pumpkins I have seen - each different.

These are some of the biggest pumpkins in the state, just a few blocks away. Anne Marie was amazed.

“Their faces looked like this: In front a human face, on the right side the face of a lion, on the left the face of an ox, and in back the face of an eagle. So much for the faces.”

Ezekiel 1

Unlit & Lit

Remember my last post of the unusual angel and homemade tree in a yard close by? Well, they both light up!!! We passed them tonight. So her...
