A Trip To The Drive Thru

Remember the car hops who would deliver your food to your car? This is a beautiful old car, and it just happened to stop at the fast food place.

This guy was pretty hungry...

In fact, he was so skinny that he was just skin and bones. Without the skin...

I do hope he can gain a bit of weight. Perhaps extra fries with his meal?

“As I prophesied, there was a sound and, oh, rustling! The bones moved and came together, bone to bone. I kept watching. Sinews formed, then muscles on the bones, then skin stretched over them. But they had no breath in them.”

Ezekiel 37

Oh My Goodness... Lots of memories... First of all, I used to have a Ford like the one pictured.... AND---we had a 'hang-out' in my hometown called the Country Boy Drive In..... Once I got my license and started driving, we LOVED going and hanging out at the Country Boy.... MEMORIES.... Great ones indeed.

Hugs,
Betsy

The driver must have been too starved!

So fun and creepy. The scripture verse went well with your post. Can you imagine dry bones coming to life!

Well I hope that isn't a sign of what can happen to you if you eat there :) When I was a kid there was a place that did this. I always thought it was pretty cool having them bring our food to the car and we were allowed to eat it right there

I have a heart full of memories of going to the A & W drive in. Back in the day when I was young, we had to drive over an hour to Winnipeg to get to an A & W but my Dad took Mom and my sister and me there several times each summer. These were very special times.

When I first met my hubby he was driving a car just like this one! Same color, too. He wishes he had kept that car to this day. Cute post and perfect for Halloween!

My hubby had a 1957 blue and white chevy--looked a lot like this one. LOVE the skeleton, hope you had a good evening.

Oh dear, he looks in need off a good meal. What a beautiful old car, I kind of covet that car. The old classics are the best, I've even fancied myself driving an old Model T Ford but there you go, maybe in my next lifetime :)))
