Dress Of Leaves

I spotted this in a museum. A dress made of fall leaves. So pretty, it is surely suitable for a wood nymph.

“Every blade in the field, every leaf in the forest, lays down its life in its season, as beautifully as it was taken up.”
~Henry David Thoreau, letter to Ralph Waldo Emerson

This is beautiful. I can see it being worn by a fairy in Midsummer Nights Dream. A lovely creation from a very talented artist.

I love fall color! We have next to none here in our part of Texas. Next fall I’m thinking of taking Louis Dean on a train trip to New England. He has never seen real fall color before!

Beautiful, I made a form out of chicken wire a few years back. Intending to do something like this with it eventually.

That would be a good idea for a Halloween costume.
