A Work Of Mystery

We saw this in a coffee shop that shows some art pieces by local artists. It was sitting on a counter. I have no idea what it means! But it does look like giant Popsicle sticks are involved. Any ideas?

No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did, he would cease to be an artist. ~Oscar Wilde

It never ceases to amaze me what is considered "works of art". I agree with you about the popsicle sticks, Ginny! *lol* I'm sure one of my kids did something similar in kindergarten. *haha* Love, Andrea xoxo

yes, those do look like popsicle sticks and a foam head used for wigs. I t almost reminds me of some kind of indian headdress.

most art we do not have any idea, or at least I don't. it took talent to create this and I would like to know what the artist thought.. there is something that bothers my OCD self, the mask is crooked, it covers part of the eye on the left... certainly interesting

Although I have no idea as to what this is meant to represent, it is very interesting.

Popsicle sticks are very unique choice for art material! I have no idea what it means, though :-)
