Hospital Farmer's Market
Today we went to the hospital to see Ruth and bring her the pictures of her peonies. What a shock to see that there was a farmer's market set up in the lobby of the hospital!! Something I have never seen before. Quite a few of the nurses and employees were buying bags of vegetables. Well, I guess healthy eating goes hand in hand with health care. Thoughts?

How interesting, I have never seen this before. I would have liked to sit in on the meeting of those who came up with the idea. Maybe they were approached first. Did they sell fruit baskets for the patients?
Good idea. Convenient for the visitors and those working in the hospital.

I think anywhere is a good place for a farmers market and I wish there were more of them around. I can't say I've ever seen one set up in a hospital before but why not.

Are you saying that the hospital had a farmers market? Cool.
I think this is a fantastic idea. I saw a similar market in a city hospital a few years ago.The staff may not be able to get to the Farmer's market otherwise.
