I did not take this last picture; I found it on the web. But I just HAD to include it!

I snapped these from the Target parking lot. The sun had just gone down, but the trees were hiding the very bottom part of the sunset. Life...

I guess anything and everything can be invasive and/or destructive.
I have to be ruthless with my honeysuckle and Asian Jasmine among other 'stuff.' But that wisteria......so beautiful. I always meant to plant some.....
Beautiful photos of the wisteria and I learned a few things also. I always love their scent when I walk by. Thank you Ginny! Have a great weekend.
Several houses around here have wisteria and its always such a shame that the flowers do not last long enough.

Oh it's beautiful most especially in that last picture. It looks like it's got a pretty good hold on that house in the second photo. I didn't realize it could pull a tree down
I so love these! They are glorious.
I always loved my aunts wisteria but it was nothing like these. these are the biggest and most beautiful i have ever seen. the roots under the ground wreak havoc growing into sewer and water pipes. the house in the header just blows my mind, i said WOW and turned it around for bob to see and he said WOW.. these are all wow photos
You certainly found a lot of wisteria around your town, but I will admit that the last photo is amazing.
They really take over, don't they? But still very beautiful.
Oh they are so beautiful! I love wisteria. I had wisteria at my home in childhood and always loved their scent. Did not know the blossoms are edible :-)
These blossoms are so very lovely. The color and form is exquisite.
Astounding. Local?
I love wisteria. Its so ethereal and smells great too.
Our tiny bushes bloom in very early spring and then they are done.
I don't think they are pure wisteria but I love them anyway.
How in the world can you grow Wisteria there - I thought it was a deep south thing and I tried to grow it!
Sorry I haven't been steady the last few days - Rick has had a HORRIBLE tooth ache - we finally and I say we - got a root cancel yesterday. Phew.

So beautiful! I would be tempted to grow too but too much work to keep it in control.
Love those photos, they are magical, have a great week:)
So so pretty! And .... PURPLE!
WOW! I like them. :-) Are they hard to manage?
