It is our brand new granddog Vivian! She is seven years old & part yellow lab. Our son & his family have just adopted her, and she is so sweet! She goes to the door and stands there when she needs to go out. They will tell her to get in her bed, and she will go and curl up in it.
Vivian's owner had gotten very sick with covid. When she got out of the hospital, her lungs were so bad that her doctor told her she could not keep her dog anymore. That is when our daughter-in-law read about her story, went to visit Vivian, and fell in love with her. I wish we could go over and play with her!!

Awwwww, precious.
How heartbreaking for her previous owner. She looks like a sweetheart. Glad she found a wonderful new home
Oh, she looks like my Labbie! Yes, they are very friendly and smart as well.. so nice of your daughter and family to adopt her!
Well that sure is as sad story with a happy ending. It’s sad that the owner got so sick and had to give up her dog. By the good training it sounds like she must have been a very good dog owner. But, it is happy that your son’s family was able to rescue the dog and bring her into another happy family. She looks like a very good girl.
Vivian is beautiful. I want to go play with her too. It's sad what happened to her owner, I hope she will recover. Glad Vivian has found a good loving home with your son and his family.
I bet Vivians first owner is so glad she has a new home....
So sad for Vivian's first owner. Hope she get a complete recovery soon. I am sure Vivian miss her first owner. Hope she will feel at home with your daughter and family. So good of your daughter to adopt her and give her a good home.
Awww1 Sweet Vivian! How wonderful of your daughter to give her a good home! It must have been such a relief for the former owner to know she will be taken care of!
While it's sad Vivian's previous owner had to give her up, it's great that Vivian has a good home and will get lots of love.
I have tears in my eyes, tears of joy that your family has a rescue dog and will find how much love they can recieve from an adult dog.. tears of sadness for Vivian losing her owner and for the owner so sick she can't keep her dog.
I hope if anything happens to us that someone will take our beautiful and oh so smart Beau... tell them I said thank you for giving Vivian a home... she is so beautiful, love her already. now they can supply us with dog pics for you to show and tell.
tell them it takes 3 months for Vivian to completely adapt and she will change every single week and get more loving and happy... today is 12 weeks since we got Beau and he is a total different dog than he was the first week...
How sweet of your daughter. What a wonderful thing to do. My Faith is a Lab mix too and does the same thing. This touched my heart.
HOW WONDERFUL!!!!
Giving a loving home, to a loved dog!
How wonderful for both dog and past owner.

The day will come when you are free to visit the children and grandchildren. I personally can't wait for that day.
I'm so glad your family was able to adopt Vivian. So sad for the owner but it must be a great comfort to know Vivian has a very loving home. I hope you get to see her soon.
