Behold our local neighborhood barber shop.
In front, they have a wooden homemade barbershop quartet.
Of course a barber stands beside them, waiting to cut their hair.
Beside them stands some kind of strange Aztec looking bird.
And on the other side is a row of old beat-up bicycles. The charm of small locally owned shops.

doesn't do much, but knows everything that's going on in the community."

Oh what an interesting barbershop in your area! Does your Phil go there for his hair cut? It is nice to see all is normal again in your place... over here, it is so serious... I am still waiting to be vaccinated, the process is so slow over here!
Now how cute is that. I like the quartet better than that bird thing but all are clever. Love it. These are the kinds of shops that I would much rather give my business to than big corporations.
Sweet quartet!!!
PS...Ginny, yes you can buy the quadruple Scrabble. It's a larger board, more tiles, etc. Called Super Scrabble. I put a link in my comment response on my blog for you.
What a sweet quartet! It is interesting to see local shops that can showcase there own unique identities. The bird is a little strange, but I love the row of bicycles.
I love it! That row of old bicycles would be stolen if they were here in Florida.
your town has the most 'differernt' things of any I have ever seen. i must say the razor is SCARY, ha ha, even if it is wood. someone is a talented carver of wood. i am thinking the singer on the left used to be a PIRATE.. to cool for words. Now i wonder what the inside look like and do they cut womens hair also?
PRECIOUS!!!!
You seem to live in a very artistic city!!!!! Or at least, a city where art is highly prized. You have so many examples of this, in your blog!
Gentle hugs...

The bikes are completely great. As for the quartet, the barber, and the bird ... it's nice to know that folks still have a sense of humor! Haahahaha xoxo
Very interesting and appropriate decor in front of the barber shop!
Fascinating...Your little town has the most interesting art work. Great quartet and barber.
He must be a real character to have that kind of decor at his shop.

The charm indeed, Ginny! You know, I remember craft shows years and YEARS ago, where crafters would sell these types of figures made in all different shapes. They were made almost entirely from felled tree trunks, cut into length, or railroad ties cut into lengths. The appeal was that they were so sturdy and lasted a long time. I wonder how old this barbershop quartet is? It's absolutely darling!!! Thank you for showing us, Ginny. ~Andrea xoxo
These are wonderful! I do like how they have decorated their shop.
I love the barbershop quartet. This barbershop must certainly have character.
This is a very unique display and so perfect for a barbershop.

The quote = my nosey neighbor!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
