On my last post, I showed an unsual animal and promised to tell you the name. Well, here it is. It is a Brown Hyena. Such a plain name for this amazing animal! A few of you got it right! They are Hootin' Anni, Ann, Jeanette, and Buttercup.

of coyotes will give you the shivers.”

Thank you!
I have not heard hyenas laugh, must be scary according to the verse.
Yeah, I got it right. Of course I did cheat to find the answer...lol
I think I watched the same program
As for you not seeing the arrow on my cloud picture...it's blue sky (not cloud). You said you see the hole in the clouds, look again...right about dead center.
we just watched a movie 3 nights ago and there were African Hyenas in it, but didnot look like this guy. i am thinking there are a lot of difffernt Hyneas. I posted late today, was not going to post but did, no post next two days
What an animal. Thank you for sharing.
He still gives me the shivers! LOL
But he makes for an amazing over all Blog Look!
You are right, in my blog comments... We did not have much trouble, with the 2 *Jabs*.
The thing is... Young people still have immunity. So the *Jabs* give them troubles.
Old people do not have as much, if any natural immunity left, so the *jabs* do not give them much trouble.
It's logical.. Old people do not have a lot, of what they had when young. More than just natural immunity. -smile-

Oh, I had no idea. I've never seen one before, but I've heard about them. The verse you shared describes them perfectly. Oh, how I love those verses you share at the end of your posts. They truly are special. : )

Gosh I should have guessed - looks kind of like the hyenas on Lion king! Brown Hyena interesting.
Such a beauty!!!!! ~Andrea xoxoxo
The head is identifiable but the colors are sure different. Not my favorite animal.
Very interesting and kind of a scary looking critter.
I certainly wouldn't want to come across this thing...
They are certainly unique creatures. I always think of the Lion King when I see them.
Wow that is an ugly critter. xoxo
