These are some of the Poinsettas we saw recently. This year, the most popular seemed to be the blue with glitter! I am assuming they are dyed. Do not look natural, but are pretty in their own way.

Those blue poinsettias are so pretty! I have read that legend before and have it at my old website.
We get poinsettias in at the store every year and they sent one of those blue ones and a bright yellow one. Both with the glitter. The rest were all regular ones. The glitter ones sold fast.
They are beautiful!
Pretty, but just not natural.
I have never seen them before - kind of pretty - just a little weird you know.
I love Christmas and the poinsettia is one of the best symbols of that holiday! I've never seen a blue one though... how pretty! ~Andrea xoxoxo
We only have the red poinsettia in the plant nursery. Red will be great for the Lunar New Year.
I prefer my poinsettias red and glitterless, I see others love the blue and that they sold first. the blue looks like artificial flowers. this is the first time seeing or hearing they come in other colors than red and white..
Call me old-fashioned -- I like red poinsettias.
Makes an interesting Header anyway.
Wonder if they have simply had roots submerged in a blue dye?????
Prefer the red and perhaps, pink.

The red are still my favorite for our home at Christmas, but the blue with glitter would be lovely in the right setting. I can envision them in the Christmas decor of my artistic niece's home!
They are gorgeous...
Well, different and in the right setting quite lovely but I guess I am a traditionalist and like the red the best!

A BULE POINSETTIA, I WANT ONE! Oh my, they are pretty. I have never seen one before. They have a purplish tint to them too. What a beautiful story about The Legend of the Poinsettia. First time I heard it. The red ones are classic and really my favorite. What a wonderful post, Ginny.

I have seen the pink and not the blue poinsettias. I usually buy the traditional red at Christmas. I was curious about the color, so I did a search and found this:
https://www.gardeningchannel.com/are-blue-poinsettias-real/
It says "the flowers are dyed to make them blue. It’s a special dye that won’t hurt the plant, so it continues to grow as usual if you take good care of it."
The blue poinsettias are pretty, but I am a bit of a purist when it come to these flowers. I like them best in red.
The blue is very pretty.
They are a pretty color of blue, but I like a more natural look. I choose red or white!
I do wonder how they create a blue variety? I like it.
We had the blue and purple at Lowe’s! I liked them!
So pretty. I'm guessing they were white and the water had blue dye in it.
