This pretty Tree swallow sat on a wire fence and turned every which way to pose for me. The others had all flown off, but not this one. I love his fluorescent shimmering head!

I like this quote. I have never seen a bird like this and the head is stunning. it is aqua like all the houses are being painted here. his head is the IN color this year. gorgeous
So much beauty in this little bird and I too like the stunning color of it's head. Oh how I love to see a peacock with it's feathers all flared out, but this is a reminder that there are other beauties that we fell to see.

Beautiful! Loved the quote, too. Growing up, my family lived about four blocks from our town's small zoo. We could hear those peacocks screeching!

That is ONE pretty bird! And your photos of it are fantastic! You showed us so many different angles, so we could see his brilliant fluorescent head. These are great pictures, Ginny. I haven't seen too many birds around yet, cause it's still so cold. I do see the mourning doves a lot in the neighborhood though. That quote is perfect for your post. : )
