I posted this photo many years ago. It is a close-up I snapped of the inside of a Chicory plant. Look closely inside, and it is sprinkled with glitter! It was all sparkly, but the camera did not pick up the glitteriness as well. It is no mere wildflower to me! If wildflowers were hard to grow, they would be beloved.

Do you add this to your coffee?
Pretty image!
It does look glittery. I'll have to take a closer look the next time I spot a chicory plant.
This is so beautiful.
It's gorgeous Ginny!
Oh yes, it is sprinkled with glitter. Next time, I will take a close look at the inside of all flowers.
I remember this photo and asking if it makes coffee and the answer was yes. its beautiful and yummy
How beautiful, Ginny!! WOW!!! ~Andrea xoxoxo
What a wonderful post to read on this Monday morning, Ginny. That is such an unusual and pretty wildflower. And my favorite color, Purple! I bet it looked even prettier up close with the glittery bud. I've never seen a wildflower quite like this.
Have a good week, Ginny. Your posts are always delightful to me. : )

*I appreciated the quote you shared as well.
Lovely glitter...God sure makes all kinds of decorations on His creation.

The glitter, our eyes see, is very difficult to capture with a camera.
But we can imagine it, because you told us.

Gentle hugs
Ugh that is GORGEOUS! I love taking shots like that with my micro lens. There is a whole world we do not see! xoxo
Yes, Shari Lewis created the wonderful Lamb Chop. That's so nice that you used to watch the shows. My kids LOVED the show, and we would watch it also. We still love the stuffed animal, and I was glad to get one from Jess. You know, it was never determined if Lamb Chop was a girl or boy, so if you ever find out, let me know haha.
Agreed!
Wow! I've never seen a flower like that. It's really pretty.
The photo is beautiful and elegant, and I love the quote. Small miracles are my favorites.
That is a miracle - there is actually something that looks like glitter inside a wildflower - that is so wonderful and beautiful!
Great shot and I do love that quote at the end.
I love your macro Ginny, its beautiful! Nice quote also :)
A beautiful capture!
