We saw this car in the Wal-Mart parking lot. It looks like a doily! I am sure it is not, and there is some other meaning, nevertheless...do you have any doilies, and do you use them?

It does look like a doily. My goodness, I have crocheted so many fancy doilies in my time. I used to have them everywhere, but no longer display any of them.
I have doilies that my gramma made. Used to have them around but not any more. I should do a post of them one day.

It is certainly a pretty design decal to put on a car. On the side back windows too.

I used to crochet doilies but that was a long time ago. Now, I no longer use doily.
It does look like a doily. These days they are calling that a mandala and they are big in the crafting world. I imagine this is done in vinyl.

Nope, no doily for me. But I do like seeing them....especially if they're used with antiques.
In the distant past I had dozens of doilies and used them all through the house, when I moved to the sub tropics they did not seem to fit in a Florida home, I do have 2 now that sit under the oil lamps in the bedroom. I have never seen one one on a car or anything like this. I LOVE the black and white border today

I have some heirloom doilies from my Mom and Mother in Law..really never used them but cherish them for whose they were.

That is such a cool design on the back of the vehicle. I love doilies, but only have one that my grandmother crocheted. I've always kept it. My sister has had many lace doilies through the years. This is really pretty, Ginny. You see some interesting cars going in and out.

I used to use doilies but not anymore. The really used to pretty up a plate with a slice of cake on them. I am talking about those pretty Lacy paper ones. My mother had the cloth ones.
You find the most interesting things on cars! I have never seen anything even remotely like that! I have one or two very small doilies that I use to put under a few layabouts on shelves and whatnot. One is heart-shaped. But anything lacy always calls to me! xoxo
