Love At First Sight

I was able to get shots of the full moon this month! April's full moon is called the Pink Moon. This is because it is the time when pink Creeping Phlox is in bloom.

Pink — it was love at first sight...
Pink — it's like red but not quite...

That is so beautiful! I love walking out in the yard at night, the moon has been so pretty. What kind of camera did you use?
I am behind today as I did not sleep a wink last night and lounged around too much today. But at least I feel better. :-)
Have a wonderful week.

Fabulous. I was headed to work the other day and the moon was out. I couldn't help wondering what this one was called and thought to myself "Ginny would know."

These are very nice photos of the Pink Moon, Ginny. I always notice face images when I look at the moon. Haven't seen it in awhile, so I appreciate your pictures today. I like the quote also. ; )

maybe this moon is why the silly shutters ended up PINK and not rose.

I saw it the other morn and it was gorgeous....but too early for me to want to get out in the cold to try to take a photo!

That's fascinating, I did not know the connection between the moon and pink phlox. You take the most gorgeous moon shots Ginny, I love them!

Terrific moon shots. I am a total failure at them myself.
Love the quote at the end especially.

We saw it when we were driving home from Erica's house on Sunday night! So low in the sky, and huge and full, and that gorgeous color! I would never be able to capture it the way you do, Ginny! xoxo

Wonderful moon shots.
Can't believe I missed the full moon this month. 😭 I just replaced my camera and was planning on seeing what kind of shots of it it would take at night.
Serves me right for not marking it on my calendar.

I really love your photos of the Full Pink Moon. I enjoyed very much looking out my window at the moon rising like a hot air balloon over the mountains. It was awesome!
