Side By Side

These two were walking in front of our car this week. We slowed way down, but enjoyed watching them waddle down the road.

Oh, we ain't got a barrel of money
Maybe we're ragged and funny
But we'll travel along singing a song
Side by side

We don't know what's coming tomorrow
Maybe it's trouble and sorrow
But we'll travel the road sharing our load
Side by side

Through all kinds of weather
What if the sky should fall
As long as we're together
It doesn't matter at all

Sooooo cute!!!!!!

Geese used to do this in our town too. On Broadway, near the park where they live. Eeeeek! People had to slow down for them. :-)

Probably still do but we don't venture on Broadway, in High Season. Too much traffic. :-)

Whenever we see the geese, there is usually a family of them. I used to see them at the cemetery all the time. I really miss that. They are funny birds with a loud honk, warning their loved ones that someone is coming. One of my favorite birds, Ginny. That's so nice that you saw a couple in front of your car and watched these silly birds for awhile. Their long necks make me laugh.

Love that song and now I will be singing it all day.
Seems it's the story of Dave and my life...side by side...through it all.

Great pictures Ginny. That just about says it all of the Canada Goose. Adorable shots and I haven't thought of that old song in a long time, a great pairing.

I love, love, love this post. They seem so calm and peaceful, just waddling along. The song is so perfect. You really made me smile.
