The Mountains

We live at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and here are some of my fall photos while driving.

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip

You took such a great shot. I really like how the plants turn orange in the fall.

Boy, talk about Beauty Overload.
That is a real feast for the eyes and the perfect Psalm to go along with the photos.

Just gorgeous! And the verse is very good, especially when many of us are sad about the state of the nation.

Like calico! We missed that peak color when we traveled to Virginia, but it was still beautiful. xoxo

Oh Ginny, your Header made my heart sing. It's no wonder that I mentioned your state as one of the prettiest at this Fall season. You have all the colors, the reds, oranges, and golds. Back in my hometown, we get all the colors also, but here in the mountains, I have been seeing the oranges and golds. The verse you shared is special, and I love living in the mountains too. It's a different way of life, but as I get older, I appreciate it so much. Thank you for sharing these truly wonderful photos, Ginny.

Our leaves are about gone, only the late hangers-on left. It's very November-ish here now.
