This weekend was the Full Strawberry Moon. It was beautiful! First, there's just the glow.
Then it rises.
Then a few clouds came in front of it.

Your pictures are amazing. It's funny you should post this. I just came back from letting Gibbs in and I noticed the big beautiful moon. I wondered to myself if it was the Strawberry moon and though I bet Ginny would know. :)
I've said it before, but I'll say it again: You seem to live a lot closer to the moon than I do!!! :)
ours was huge this morning and last night, really bright, but no hint of color. this is amazing as always. I like it with the trees ad clouds in it

Oh my goodness! What beautiful photo's!! I can never seem to get good pictures of the moon. We have been experiencing a lot of smoke due to the fires in Nova Scotia and other parts of Canada and it has turned our skies a crazy colour and made sunrises looks surprisingly beautiful.
