Gov School Graduation

We have several school graduations this month. On Saturday, our oldest granddaughter Anne Marie graduated from Governor's School. The weather was nice and it was held outside.

I wore my spangled fake snakeskin jacket with a fake ostrich skin purse.

Beginning of the ceremony.

Finally Anne came up to the podium. But my camera snapped too soon and I only got her back!

Photos on the lawn afterward.

The two of us.

Next post will be our parade!

Congratulations to Anne Marie. It seems only yesterday you were showing pictures of her as just a little one.
Interesting that the graduates don't wear caps and gown.
Almost forgot to say, I love your jacket and purse. Very pretty.

I have watched Anne Marie grow from toddler to graduate and it seems she did it by magic to get where we are today. Congratulations to Anne and to all of you for raising such a beautiful girl and so very smart.. Keep us posted on what is next for her. I sat staring at the header without scrolling down trying to figure out what it was and never guessed. I love it..

For some reason I knew your header was a purse.
Your granddaughter is gorgeous, and I know you are so proud of her.
Congrats!

You look very spiffy. Love your jacket and purse.
Nice pictures of you and Anne Marie too, as well as the one of all three of you.
I'm surprised they don't wear their caps and gowns when they cross the podium. In my neck of the woods they wear them through the whole ceremony.
