Looking over the iron fence in a neighbor's yard, I spotted these flowers. I have no idea what they are. They look a bit like Snapdragons that have not opened yet. Any ideas?

Looks like snapdragons to me. They sure are bright and colorful.
They look like snapdragons to me too. They're beautiful and I love the quote.
They look like Lupine to me. I've never seen them in so many pretty colors. I have some in my front yard. I think mine are all pink
Forgot to mention, as the flowers dry up they will become seed pods that open up and drop the seeds for the next years flowers. That's how I got mine. My dad had brought me a bunch of the seed pods before they opened up. I just laid them on the ground and the next year I had Lupine :)
They look like Lupines to me, but I haven't seen them in such bright colors. They sure are pretty!
absolutely stunning photos of these whatever they are, GiGi search said, Lupine, snapdragon, holly hocks
I will guess lupine. And my oh my, what a beautiful sight!!

Somehow and it is not hard for me I got confused. I think those are snapdragons too.
And your last post - I think driving the graduates around town is a wonderful tradition.
Whatever they are, they are beautiful!
I guess I am in agreement with the comments of others.
Snaps do come in a lot of different colors.
They certainly "dress" up the yard.

My guess would be lupines. They sure are pretty.
Your neighbor's yard is green and lush. And I love the quote. I had the same quote with a different picture at one time until I lost all my photos. But I'll always remember that one, it's a good one. ; )
Have a pleasant weekend, Ginny.
