Giants Among Us

The theme for all the Fall and Halloween decorations this year seems to be GIANT. Everything, both inside and out, is gigantic! These are photos I took during one visit to Ross.

These stuffed pumpkins were enormous! I was tempted to buy one of the smaller ones with pearls on it.

This crystal spider would hardly fit on the shelf. It was the size of several breadboxes.

I thought this crystal pumpkin was gorgeous! But what would I do with it and where would I put it?

Enormous bells. Some were so huge they would not fit on any shelves and had to be displayed on the floor!

And of course huge Santas on the floor.

Giant is right!
I love your last quote about God's giants.

Apparently they are under the impression that bigger is better. I do liked the stacked pumpkins but that crystal spider is something that I wouldn't want sitting around.

I always wonder where people that decorate a lot...where they store their stuff...specially these giant things. But fun to see what you saw.

WOW... and I agree, everything is BIG!

Just a note, we are working on a landscaping project this week, so I will not be around as much in blogland.
Love you,
Carla

I keep wondering where on earth people store these items "between seasons"...

Oh wow, that quote at the end is fabulous. That is absolutely right.
Lots of big stuff for sure, but where would one put it?
As always a fun post for today.

Great quote. As you know, I live in Texas and they say everything is bigger in Texas! (Not true though). I do not want to have to worry about storing oversized stuff...I'll stick with the smaller items..

Not necessarily something I would wat, but I think the crystal spider is beautiful.
When I first saw the shot of the crystal pumpkin in your header (before reading the post), I thought it was a giant cube of multi-colored jello, haha.

No my cup (huge mug?) of tea. The crystals are beautiful, but, again, where would we keep them for the rest of the year?
