February 2026

As usual, I am posting my calendar page on the first of the month.

In other news of the month, did you know that this Monday, Feb. 2nd, is Groundhog Day? Hard to believe. The groundhogs here will have a hard time sticking their heads up through 6 inches of ice.

Beautiful calendar page. And that poor groundhog getting blamed when he doesn't predict. But he is not a weather forecaster...he is a cute rodent.

since I have lived a long 81 years on this planet, I can attest to the fact the climate HAS changed.. for sure. Living in a part of Florida for 41 years and the first 41 spending a lot time here with my grandmother, I can tell you this winter is the first time ever of 3 weeks of wearing a sweater inside my home....

That's a pretty calendar page. I can't believe it's February already. I guess I need to get busy today and finish my happy mail cards so I can get them in the mail tomorrow.

I love your calendars! I hope that rodent behaves himself this year. :)

Cute memes Ginny. Hard to believe that groundhog day will be here tomorrow. You always select the prettiest calendars and this in no exception...love the picture of the pots and the sweet birds.

Thanks for the reminder to change my calendar, too, Ginny. Your memes are hilarious with that ground hog. It's so cold here, our groundhog, Beauregard Lee, might think twice about even popping his head out. Have a beautiful Sunday!

Cute memes. We have never done Groundhogs Day here in California. Too geographically diverse. It could be winter in the mountains and summer in the desert. There is a desert tortoise or two they've promoted that usually does it's thing in March. Has more to do with our rainy season which is winter to us.

Oooo, pretty calendar page, Ginny. I still have to get my Mary Engelbreit calendar; I'm using a plain one, and it's not artistic at all. I don't see the groundhogs here, thank goodness, cause the rodents scare me. I love that quote you shared.

Happy February, Ginny!

The calendar reminds us that spring is coming. Whatever the groundhog tells us. 😊❤️

Hello, Ginny! We used to live very near Punxsutawney, and let me tell you, that is a huge deal! It is unbelievable how many people go and stand there in the freezing cold to hear if a rodent proclaims spring! Happy Groundhog Day to you, my friend!
