The Game

I am usually pretty good at finding new games that we can all play. And for this last Christmas, I found this game. It's supposed to be a barrel of laughs.

The object is to stick your hands in these sleeves and try to pick up and eat tiny marshmallows by grabbing them with these teeny tiny hands.

At first it started out well enough.

But it was very tricky, and soon they all hated it! As you can see by the agonizing looks on Dara's face.

I guess I was the only one who liked it. Anyway, here they all are at the end of the evening. Wonder if they will ever trust me to pick out another game...

“Every family has that one game nobody likes—but everyone plays anyway, just to laugh about it later.”

LOL I bet it was at least good for some laughs. I saw that game somewhere but can't remember where. They were all still smiling at the end of the evening so that's a good sign.

This looks like a fun evening even if they all decided they wouldn't give this game a A+. I think it looks challenging and this is what makes it FUN! You all look great and I thought the expressions on everyones says it all...

Add it to all the wonderful family memories, even if they didn’t like it at the time. 😊❤️

You gave it a try, and they really didn't like it?? Having such gatherings are important. It forms the bonds that last a lifetime. When our children grew up and moved onto their lives/careers, now Christmas is very quiet. ,But we played those games on family nights, and it was fun.

Oh, how funny, Ginny. I've never heard of this game, but it looks like it would be a fun game for the family to play. Those arms and hands are so tiny haha. I think you did a great job trying to find a game that was suitable for the family. : )

**Under The Tuscan Sun is with Diane Lane and Raoul Bova. Frances' best friend, Patti, encourages her to take a trip of Italy. She did, and while she was there she bought a villa in Tuscany. It shows the people she meets along the way, and the workers that do construction on her villa, and it's such a delightful film. You should really watch it. It came out years ago, but I've seen it many times, and I still love watching it.

Maybe they would like Cranium. We had a lot of fun playing it one Christmas Eve.
