Till Death Do Them Part

I recently came across this and thought it was hilarious.

It made me think of our crows. They live in the tall pine trees out back. I took some splendid shadow shots of them.

I usually see crows in pairs. They mate for life, until one of them dies. Seeing that they can live between 7 and 20 years, I think that is almost romantic!

Crows, the bird of magic and the unknown
Forever shrouded in mystery, forever flown

In the night, they call out to me
Their voices eerie, wild and free
Mystery surrounds their every move
Crows, the birds of death, magic and groove

The wrench picture is so cute! I didn't know that crow mated for life, that's very cool. I've heard they are very smart. Fun post!

I like the wrench photos. My husband told me that the crows go all the back to the dinosaurs!

Yes, all birds are what is left of the dinosaur 🦕 age.

Absolutely wonderful photos of the crows, Ginny, and I had learned that they mate for life. Crows may be a nuisance in some ways, but they sure are bright. The wrench photo cracked me up!

I love your photos Ginny!
We have a family of crows that live close by to us. A neighbor feeds them food scraps.

I learned some things about crows today! The pictures reminded me of Heckel and Jeckel, do you remember them? Two crows from my cartoon days. I did enjoy the pictures; you got some great shots. As for Momma Wrench feeding her young, I burst out in laugher. Very cute graphic.

I adore crows (and ravens), they are all so very, very cool looking. Great shots too. Over the weekend I photographed a deer in the woods and now I wanna get a zoomie lens for crows (and ravens), and all kinds of neat stuff.

Got your message about being snowed-in. Hope you have power and water. About the Valentine mushroom planter, ALDI also had a heart as well. And a few neat Valentine's sweaters. We also got a candle but the candle was meh for smell.

Wishing you a fun rest of your snow day!

These are nice photos of the Crows. I didn't know Crows mate for life. I think the Geese do as well. Looks like they are enjoying that feeder. I see them at times at the grocery store early in the mornings. Delightful wrench quote too. ; )
