Last month we looked around our little downtown Christmas Festival. There were lots of kids and parents, This is a giant inflatable snow globe that you can go inside for a photo. The grinch was there too!
Some people brought their dogs in very cute outfits.
I thought this was so sweet. Perhaps a dad tending to an infant while the rest of the family had fun.
Cars were wearing antlers.
By now the moon had started to come out.
One last sight as we drive home. The Abominable Snowman! Do you believe in him, or in Bigfoot? I saw a show the other night with policemen and military men who all claimed to have seen him.
“The Grinch reminds
us joy can sneak up on anyone.”

You find and share the neatest things, Ginny. Very cool.
Great post Ginny, with a clever title too. The Abominable Snowman or Bigfoot? I have been curious in the stories and would believe only if I saw them, not that I discount anyone’s beliefs that they did. Strange things do happen in this world.
I think one or both exist, too many people say they have seen them or it.. I love the way your blog looks today. I thought I was outside for just a moment when it opened. what a fun thing the snow globe must me
Cryptids like bigfoot do exist, the prehistoric Coelacanth fish was listed as extinct/prehistoric until one was dredged up from deep sea in the thirties the History Channel has lots of shows regarding the topic.
The only place I have ever seen the abominable snowman is on Rudolph. My son is a big fan of bigfoot for some reason.
I loved these photos of everyone having so much Christmas fun, Ginny. Not sure what to think about Bigfoot, but I won't say he doesn't exist. Have a great day!
What fun doings in the downtown area for kids and families.
I saw quite a long piece on the abdominal snowman a few weeks back and the researchers say it is most likely a Himalayan brown bear that often walks upright on two feet and they showed one walking and moving much like the videos we have seen submitted by witnesses. It was interesting.
What a fun place to visit. I agree with NanaDiana, I think there's something but likely to be a large bear or something like that.
You captured some really cute photos... Abdominal Snowman...NO... Bigfoot, I do have some stories about this one. But now, have you read? It's aliens...people are seeing aliens in some odd places. This was on a news channel the other day...can't remember which one..
You must carry your camera everywhere you go and have it ready to shoot. I love all these cute pictures and the daddy watching the baby!
You had me go googling, but no, I don't believe in Bigfoots or Yetis any more than in gnomes and goblins (which are - or were - more common in old tales here in Scandinavia)... The explanations of some people having come across big bears standing/walking upright seem more believable to me. Some unknown strange creatures having survived in very deep waters at sea seems somewhat more believable to me - even if not all the tales of people having seen them... On the whole, I find it more likely that some very small species have remained still undetected than very large ones, though!
Oh, that snow globe is delightful for the kids to go inside and take pictures.....and having the Grinch there is even better.
We love hearing stories about Bigfoot around these parts. And Yes, some have claimed to have seen him. If you ever hear of any stories, Ginny, I'd love you to share them through e-mail. That Abominable Snowman is a fun attraction too.
Bigfoot is BIG in our area, and there are many stories. My sons, have said, when they, are backpacking at night, they hear of strange calling - they believe it quite possibly is Big Foot. We live about an hour from the Bigfoot capital. Fun little town!
A fun post Ginny. Thank you!
I guess I really don't believe in Big Foot or the Abominable Snowman either. It does make for interesting stories though.
Great photos as usual.
Sue
Sounds like a fun time out. No, I don't believe.:)
