Frozen Walls

Looking out the window today, I noticed the big tree with the blue and white sky behind it.

Looking out the back window directly across from us is the neighbor's back door.

And look what he had done!

I don't know how or why he did this, as they have no children living at home. This has two side walls and is open inside, like a fort.

Snow‑stacked towers guard the night,

glittering under a silver moon.

Inside, the cold feels gentle,

like a lullaby carved in blue.

That's such a pretty picture of the tree. The fort is pretty cool! That was a lot of stacking!

That first picture is really pretty.
Looks like your neighbor was having fun. That's pretty cool. I wonder how he did do that with the slabs of snow

lol. Don't have to be a kid to play and build. Very cool stuff. LOVE the picture with the white and blue and the tree.

Beautiful tree photo with that blue and white sky. And only the other day on the TV news I saw people building igloos here too, just for the fun of it... (Well, not in my town, but in some other town in Sweden, I forget where.)

Love your photo of that tree, Ginny! Your neighbor must be a child at heart. So clever!

Wow, the tree with the ice is beautiful. That is so cool what your neighbor made. Making an igloo, perhaps?

Oh goodness...this sure looks like a lot of work. I guess he was just being creative. Your header is amazing.

Maybe Snowmageddon got to your neighbor and he was bored. What a lot of work building the fort.
Love the Tree and the words the cold feels gentle like a lullaby carved in blue.

First of all, I love your poem. The wall must have been fun for them to do. Good exercise too! Love your tree photo and it makes a great header with the cute effect.

That's pretty neat. I wonder why he built a fort with blocks of snow. I love the first photo of the bare trees and blue skies. So pretty, Ginny. I like your neighbor's snowman flag too. ; ) I hope you are staying warm and comfortable.

Looks like your neighbor was summoning his inner child or maybe just having fun in the snow?

It's a very cool (no pun intended) looking fort.
