Remembering How To Dream

Greenland has been very much in the news lately. So I thought you may like to see it's beauty. No, I have never been there. I found the pics on the web.

Greenland has the world’s largest natural park. It is the largest island globally. The population is about 56,000.

It has some of the oldest rocks on earth, some 3.8 billion years old.

Greenland was founded in 1728 by a Danish Norwegian missionary.

Greenland has no roads connecting it’s towns.

“Greenland feels like the earth remembering how to dream.”

I am so glad you posted this. What a beautiful place. Just my humble thoughts, but my thoughts are that this place needs to remain as beautiful and simple as it is now.

This looks like such a pretty place. Love the colorful houses so close together. Those rock formations are so old. I like your title, remembering how to dream. Rome has always been a dream place for me to visit. Have a good rest of the week, Ginny.

Vert interesting. It looks pretty. I wonder how people from one city get to another city if there are no roads.

An extremely strategic island in these modern times, Ginny. I love the colorful way their homes are painted. Guess it makes up for the ice and snow, like flowers in the desert. Beautiful!

I sure enjoyed the pictures; they look like Christmas postcards. I also enjoyed learning a little bit about Greenland.

Thank you! That’s interesting about the lack of roads, but it makes sense. ❤️
