Snapping from our T.V., I thought these were the best fireworks. What you see in the background is the New York Skyline. Just about as pretty as the fireworks themselves!

We saw some amazing fireworks on T.V. We will do our own as a family later this week. Anyway, the ones on T.V. featured some new ones not done before! So I will do maybe two or three posts, divided in categories. These are the ones down low, very close to the water. I had not seen this kind before.

We went to the grocery store a couple days before the 4th of July. They had a lot of huge 4th balloons.
A donut with a bite out of it!
A Tiki? Not sure what it has to do with the 4th.
And they had some really cute flowers. These Orchids were likely dyed.

We passed by this house with a cool door-sized 4th Of July poster. But look, they attached it upside down!!! See how the fireworks are under the flag by the ground? I wonder if they ever noticed?
Anyway, I flipped the photo upside down, and this is how it SHOULD look.

Yesterday I posted the Big Cow and Big Cat in their 4th Of July finery. But there is now a new guy on the block, a real contender. He is only about three blocks away! Can you find him hiding behind the greenery?
It is the Big Man! All dressed up. In fact, he is packing heat! Get a load of the gun he is carrying!
He stands in a front yard with corn growing beside him! You can't get more American than that!

The Big Cat & the Big Cow are ready for July 4th! They are both dressed in their finest July 4th party outfits. So now the competition begins, which will you choose? First up is the Big Cat.

In the nearly 100-degree heat, in front of the cheese shop, sat an old man. In front of him were racks of homemade things, including these wreaths. 4th of July wreaths!
I only got two photos because the man was sitting right THERE. So I had to be sneaky. This one was my favorite, as it could be left up all spring and summer.
