A Long Day

I am totally exhausted tonight. We got up around 6 A.M. and spent the day at the hospital. We did manage to get home before dark, because there was a lot of fog going over Afton Mountain! Her surgery went well, but she got air trapped around her lungs from the procedure. It is more painful than the surgical site, and hurts with each breath. We will go back tomorrow if she is still there. Till then, here are the latest banners in our town center. Early to bed for me!

I got the bill for my surgery. Now I know what those doctors were wearing masks for.

Like the quote from Emma. How sweet of you to be with your friend. Hope she will feel better tomorrow.

Air trapped around her lungs? That DOES sound painful. Hope you got plenty of rest.

The first quote is a hoot! They do rob you blind.

Spending the day in a hospital is very tiring. I know how exhausted I was on more than one occasion when I've had to do it.
Glad to hear the surgery went well but the air trapped around her lungs does sound painful.
Those banners are really nice

I'm not sure why but Hospitals can be such tiring places, I've spent a lot of my time in them over the years, not for myself but for Tom. Lets hope things improve tomorrow.
