Patterns

Photographer Xavi Bou took these photograph of flocks of birds in flight. He shoots between 30 and 120 frames per second.

His process shows a period of time compressed into a single image without doing a long exposure. He uses high resolution movie cameras in slow motion. Then he merges all the shots into one image. Thus creating the patterns of birds in flight.

The bird who dares to fall is the bird who learns to fly.
