Every year at Christmas time, they decorate this tree in memory of their dogs, past and maybe present. Usually they only decorate the top half, but this year it was the bottom half. Go figure.
When I yell at my dog to stop barking, I wonder
if he thinks “This is awesome! We are barking together!”

This is so sweet. I don't have any dogs to put out ornaments for, but I'd remember Katherine, Amos, Owen and Ginger, kitty-cats of beloved memory.
