Santa Scarecrow and Stump Santa

I saw both of these today. This Santa scarecrow was in a neighborhood surrounded by woods.

And this tree stump Santa is about two houses down from us. They have a huge stump in their front yard, and they just threw this over it and made it look like a Santa hat. Clever.

I've never seen a scarecrow Santa before. I wonder where the homeowners got that big Santa hat?

That Santa scarecrow isn't half as scary as the 'santa' masks that scared me back in my childhood! ;)

I love the creative use of the stump. You must have a bunch of creative neighbors. I wonder if the lure of being on your blog inspires them to keep coming up with novel ideas.

You do have some interesting and unique decorations in your neck of the woods.
Love the Santa scarecrow. Do they dress it in different outfits to go with the various seasons and holidays?
