Believe it or not, this is not a real mill. It is a miniature in a neighborhood front yard.
This sits in an outdoor art park. I'm not really sure of it's purpose.
This owl mailbox is in the area.
At Halloween time, they added an RIP tombstone and giant spider.
Another strange vehicle at the art park.
A logmobile?
“Sometimes I feel that life is
passing me by, not slowly either, but with ropes of steam and spark-spattered
wheels and a hoarse roar of power or terror. It's passing, yet I'm the one
who's doing all the moving. I'm not the station, I'm not the stop: I'm the
train. I'm the train.”

That's a pretty impressive looking mill in the first picture. You sure find the most interesting things around there.
Your area must have some very interesting people....we have one not far from us....you just would not believe his yard.
Great yard art! I really like the mill & the log-mobile.
I am always surprised at what you find around town I have never seen anything like any of these. the owl that Big looks at is just like this owl, but it is sitting on a 3 foot post. just owl on a post. I wonder just who lives in these houses... maybe you should hang out and take photos of them when they come outside. we know they must because who puts the art out there. the strangest might be the wagon with the doghouse/slash dog igglooo?
What a treat to see all this creativity, the mill is truly great and who would think to put wheels on a log. Made me smile, thank you for that.
You find the most interesting things in your area. I'm just hapy that you share them with us.
Ginny - I am so trying to figure out how you find all these things - where you live - I wish I could! Very interesting.
That is a lot of outside decoration. I do like the water wheel one.
Wow, the miniature mill in a yard! That is quite impressive and looks beautiful! Love the owl mailbox and the logmobile is very interesting :-)
Love this---lol about some of those 'vehicles' though. Thanks for popping by and leaving me a comment. Hope you have a great weekend. Hugs- Diana
I especially like that little mill. I would have that sitting on my yard.
Well, looks like you have been busy buzzing about town finding some pretty cool photos. I am always drawn to the colorful ones. Nice!
I am always fascinated by the things in your part of the world...you find such interesting things.
Not sure about some of those cars either...
Another great quote to go with these great photos. That windmill, I had to look at twice, once after you said it was a miniature in someone's garden. Impressive!
You are definitely wheeling and dealing today. Quite an unusual and striking collection!
