Are you familiar with my title's slogan? It's the slogan for Chick-fil-A. Have you ever eaten at a Chick-fil-A? We did just a few hours ago. This is a fast food restaraunt that has chicken breast sandwiches for a speciality instead of hamburgers. There are over 1,000 restaraunts in this country. I recently read in a consumers magazine that it is the healthiest fast food place to eat at. I believe they use mostly peanut oil, or some other healthy kind. They sold the first boneless chicken breast sandwich ever, many years ago. Their ads show lots of cows who are afraid for their lives, and also bad spellers, and they hold up signs saying "Eat Mor Chikin". Their food is quite good, and better for you than a burger joint. This is the Christmas tree in our local Chick-fil-A. I just love it, and so had to snap it to show you. There have been many Sundays when we are on the run and stop into a Chick-fil-A to grab a bite. But we are always dissapointed and unable to. This is because they are always closed on Sunday. The restaraunt founder and owner, S. Truett Cathy, is an amazing man, and also a Christian. So he will keep the Sabbath for all his employees. Principles and helping others mean more to this man than money. He has written a biography, which is the story of his sucess, called "Eat Mor Chikin Inspire more People: Doing business the Chick-fil-a Way." A good book. And he lives by another good book which says this:"Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maid servant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates."

When I lived on the East Coast it was one of my favorite fast foods. The slogan was probably around back then but I don't remember hearing it before, the cows are cute. I also didn't remember them being closed on Sunday. That has been quite a few years ago. I never see a Chick-fil-A here on the West Coast.
Did you find the CD you were looking for today?
I love those filet sandwichs, now i want one. it has been a little while since I had one. good for him closing on Sunday. I did not know that since I have never been in the mall on sunday to see if they were open. for that matter, i have not been in our mall more than 3 times in 3 years. since i retired, I don't shop anymore
I saw your comments on all the blogs, i get an email when you comment with the comments on it, so i never miss a comment and look forward to them. the check thing is just plain crazy. i rarely write checks, use debit card and pay bills online. i wrote 3 checks, one to church, one for a magazine bob has been getting and the last one was to the repairman for the pool. one of those checks was copied and the amount changed to 1400 and 1200.00 and made out to a woman, then cashed. the bank said checks are much more dangerous to use than credit/debit cards and i knew that. from now on i will not write checks. our church has a web site and tithes can be put on it and i might just do that, or just make that the only check i write each month. did you click on The HAPPY blog link and look at the dogs
