Sick Leave
Dear Blog friends, you probably noticed that I didn't comment on any blogposts today. I woke up in the middle of the night feeling extremely sick. Bad vertigo made everything spin around and around and I was very nauseus, unable to even walk without assistance. I talked to the Dr. on the phone, and he believes I may have an inner ear infection. He told me to take Dramimine, and if I couldn't keep any fluids down by evening, go to the E.R. Fortunately, I've been able to drink a bit and have a bowl of soup at bedtime but each turn of the head makes things spin around and I have spent the day flat in bed unable to read, watch t.v. or work the computer. My husband is typing this post for me. I see the Dr. here on this wednesday at 4 o'clock. I'm hoping to get better sometime this week, but until then extreme dizziness forces me to be idle. I will have my husband post another update tomorrow night if I am unable. I appreciate all my dear blog friends so much and hope to be visiting all of you very soon.

Ginny, I have been wondering about you today. I am so sorry to hear you aren't feeling well, take care of yourself. It does sound like the inner ear infections I have had in the past. Staying hydrated is very important.

It's morning at my corner of the world now. I hope you didn't have to go to the ER, that the pills help a bit and that you were able to get some rest. Just take it easy and try to find something nice to think about. I just got a funny Word Verification here: "meridog" (maybe that one should have been for Sandra)
Ginny, I'm missing your light in my life this morning. I hope you are feeling better!!!! You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Best,
Bonnie
Good job Phil! Thanks. Until you said you were the typist - I was wondering how someone with vertigo was able to type and to think so clearly. I've had that "inner ear" problem from time to time while flying around Africa and know some of the associated discomforts. Ginny, we're praying for a quick recovery for you.
Take care of yourself. Please keep us updated as much as possible.
Take care Ginny... Meanwhile keep us updated and get well soon...
My prayers for you:)
Ginny, I hope you feel better really soon and that the doctor will know how to help you. This is one of those storms you wrote about yesterday, isn't it? He'll comfort and keep you!
I'm sorry to hear this Ginny. My thoughts are with you. I hope you recover soon.
Take care.... I hope you are feeling better soon!
Aww Ginny, so sorry you are not feeling well! Hope you are better ASAP!
Bless your heart sweetie! I'm prayin' for ya girl. It's not a good thing livin' in a dizzy spin!
God bless ya and please take care!!!
Both my mother and my mother-in-law suffer from vertigo occasionally, which is too often. It is awful. Sending prayers your way!
Oh sweetie! I hope you are well soon. We miss you here in blogger-ville! I have a said a prayer for your speedy recovery and will continue to keep you in my prayers.
I am so sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well. You do know that I am a Dr. and I do make house calls. So if you need assistance please feel free to call Dr. Remington. But for now I say -- rest, drink plenty of fluids and don't worry about Blogland -- we only want you to get better.
Take care and get better. Listen to both your doctor and Nurse Phil.
Oh Ginny!!! Take care of YOU - don't worry about us - we'll all be here praying for both you and Phil. Get better... praying for you to be healed!! Hugs, love and blessings!!!! xo
Take care. All three of us here have been under the weather for almost a week now. I really hate these fall colds. Get well soon.
Hugs and prayers going out to you Ginny. Hope you get relief soon.
Hey, rest up!! Don't fret, we understand! At least you can dictate! Will be praying for you (hugs).. I get that very thing from my dad occasionally! When you do get around, you'll notice I only posted photos as I'm not up to much else.. Who was that besides Rod Stewart that said "every picture tells a story"?..anyway, I'm glad you still had your terrific header up! Take care of yourself:)
Hey thanks Phil- hope your feeling better too!
This is one of the worse kinds of sick. I'm always battling dizziness off and on and it puts a person out of commission for a while, that's for sure. I will be praying!!!
