"In the hopes of reaching the moon, men fail to see the flowers that blossom at their feet."
Albert Schweitzer
Well, I do fail to see anything else when the moon looks like this.Today we went out to run some errands, then went to see a Christmas light display. But the best light came early in the day before it even got dark. The Christmas lights were rather tawdry and paled in comparison to this.
Thank the miracle-working God,
His love never quits.
The God whose skill formed the cosmos,
His love never quits…
The God who filled the skies with light,
His love never quits.
The sun to watch over the day,
His love never quits.
Moon and stars as guardians of the night,
His love never quits.
His love never quits.
The God whose skill formed the cosmos,
His love never quits…
The God who filled the skies with light,
His love never quits.
The sun to watch over the day,
His love never quits.
Moon and stars as guardians of the night,
His love never quits.
Psalm 136

Wow..what a beautiful enchanting series!! Indeed, I'm sure they paled in comparison to this! Enjoyed the quote and the Psalm-
Hope you have an enjoyable weekend
Those are really cool moon photos, Ginny. I think I like the first one best. They are all beautiful. Love the Psalm 136. Our God is an awesome God!!
Amen! Love your pslam, poem and photos, such a lovely perspective!
Such an amazing God we have!
I so agree with you. This is indeed the best light and your photos do full justice!
Tawdry indeed compared to this.
Our moon was just barely showing through cloudy skies, but it was also beautiful in its own way!
I knew last night as I was driving home that I would see that beautiful moon again on someone's blog! Thank you, Ginny! It was absolutely gorgeous. blessings ~ tanna
What beautiful moon shots, Ginny!
Stunning!!!! We are supposed to be able to see the total lunar eclipse tomorrow night/early Saturday morning...I'll guarantee that it'll be cloudy here. Always is. Never fails.

that psalm is perfect and the moon looks like a giant crystal ornament hung in the trees just for us. and it was and is. great shots really great.
I too noticed that beautiful moon yesterday as I was driving my school bus. No time for pictures then, but now I can enjoy the ones you took.
Love the blue and white colors of these moonshots! So different! Will have to make a special point of looking tonight! Because we still don't have our verticals - they were supposed to be here at the beginning of the week - the moon still shines in my face when I'm asleep! It is so bright! Thanks to our Creator for such beautiful lights in the sky! Love The Light of the world the best!
This is such a beautiful post Ginny. Agree with the quote completely! Your moon shots are just amazing, as always...
Hope you have a wonderful weekend:)
We try so hard to make things beautiful and a lot of things are - but God by far is the the better artist.

Beautiful--an almost winter moon!
Best,
Bonnie
Beautiful shots! Tomorrow night -- the Full Cold Moon! AND it is cold here!
These are wonderful pictures. I'm going to have to get out and see what I can get.
The full moon light came pouring into our bedroom in the early morning hours. It was so beautiful.
Nice photos Ginny.
Oh that gorgeous full moon... (I assume you got no snow????)
We wanted to be at the beach now --so that we could see the fullmoon over the water.. BUT--maybe next year!!!!
You take the best moon pictures of anyone. YES---that is the BEST Christmas light for sure.
Hugs,
Betsy
Girl, you sure can capture the moon, this is splended!
Hi Ginny,
You must ahve a very sophisticated camera to capture the moon like this.
Did you decorate your tree with the grands?
I think I might not bother: 1 Husband is overseas,
2: My decorations are packed away.
Perhaps I will decorate the tree outside again. I suddenely felt strange, the old house had trees outside too.
What a beautiful moon. I think these are your best ones yet.
This is definitely the best Christmas light. I was noticing the moon tonight...incredible! This is a beautiful post Ginny.
I Wholeheartedly agree, Ginny! The lights made by man will always pale in comparison to God's lights.
Hi Ginny, Nifty lunar pictures! You have a knack for getting great moon photographs! Have a wonderful weekend!
Wow what a moon shot! We were out just before dusk tonight too and I was looking at the moon peeking in and out of the clouds and wishing I had my camera. However, I would not have captured the beauty you did due to large cloud cover, so I truly appreciate what you captured. The beautiful Psalm and quote is icing on the cake. Thank you for all the very nice comments on my snowflake frames and posts. I admit I have been a bit more creative in presentation lately and the comments have been favorable. You are so nice Ginny. Have a beautiful weeekend. See you on Tues.
Beooootiful! God made so many wonderful fantastic things for us to enjoy, didn't He? Patsy from

You have an eye that captures sights that many of us would miss. These are wonderful photos. Have a wonderful evening. Blessings...Mary
Thanks for your comment. People did ask me to confront them up front, but it is not the Asian way.
I haven't seen the first person for 30 years. The second is still in my city, but I didn't have any contact as she avoids me because she owes me a lot of money.
It really looks like a ball of light just floating in the sky in these pictures.
beautiful. I noticed our moon last night. So incredible and I didn't have my camera.
