This Little Piggy Stayed Home

My silver Christmas piggy has returned! I thought perhaps he went to market, or perhaps had run off with these other handsome pigs. But no, he was here all along! It seems he had trotted around to the back side of the tree by the wall, where I never hang any ornaments because no one can see back there. He must have been hiding, so this is the end of the tail!

“God is good, a hiding place in tough times. He recognizes and welcomes anyone looking for help, no matter how desperate the trouble. But cozy islands of escape He wipes right off the map. No one gets away from God.”
Nahum 1:7

Perhaps little silver piggy decided to play a game of hide and seek. It seems he found an almost perfect hiding place. I'm glad your mystery tale had a happy ending.

Love your stars post....want to with Michael a happy, belated, birthday...41 years...amazing how time goes ever so swiftly, doesn't it? My youngest [Erik] will be FORTY in a few months. Boggles the mind!!

And your piggy ornament........he's returned!!! How sweet is that?! I'm so happy. I was really wondering just where he went off to, and glad he's back as shiny as ever. The little rascal.

PS ... love the "end of the tail/tale" ending.

Happy Christmas and Merry New Year.

Glad to have you visit with me, as always...My Friday Fragments

i typed a very very long comment and when i clicked to publish it gave me a silly sign in thing, then popped me to add my cell phone which i don't own. then disappeared. so here goes on what i think i said.
I am wondering if Santas Helper AKA Ann Marie or even Ella Bella might have had something to do with the hiding silver piggy. Merry Christmas and I love you Ginny

But you don't know for sure that he hasn't been off on an adventure and forgot to get back on the tree where you had left him. I'll bet he has some piggy tales to tell :)

I'm glad he has been found. Perhaps he is just shy, but he is so handsome that he shouldn't be.

I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.
