A New Home Way Too Soon

This world is not my home I'm just a passing through
My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue
The angels beckon me from heaven's open door
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore
 Carl Smith

“You laid earth’s foundations a long time ago, and handcrafted the very heavens; you’ll still be around when they’re long gone, threadbare and discarded like an old suit of clothes. You’ll throw them away like a worn-out coat, but year after year you’re as good as new. Your servants’ children will have a good place to live and their children will be at home with you.””
Psalm 102

A lovely Psalm. Life goes on even when our memory is gone. But, we look forward to our home in Heaven....Such splendor! And we would all be clambering to get there if we could. Happy Christmas Blessings you you and yours Ginny,

Your words help lift this heavy heart. I hope that some can be found to solace the parents of the children who were lost on Friday. Hugs and blessings...Mary
