The End Of The Parade

Well, our parade of historical and creepy people has come to an end. Now I will be glad to go on to something a bit less grim. One thing I noticed this year...the grownups seemed to like it much better than the children. I will leave you to ponder on the meanings of this. Thank you for bearing with so many pictures, but after deleting a lot, I couldn't choose any more to leave out.

“He was supreme in the beginning and—leading the resurrection parade—he is supreme in the end. From beginning to end he’s there, towering far above everything, everyone. So spacious is he, so roomy, that everything of God finds its proper place in him without crowding.”
Colossians 1

Adults really do seem to get into Halloween these days than they used to... I'd much rather see the little kids... Cute bunch of costumes.
Hugs,
Betsy

What fantastic costumes! I loved those of the babies below as well. I always love your pictures. No doubt about it, you have an eye made for the camera. Have a great day, Ginny. Blessings...Mary

I read somewhere that Halloween has better business sales than during Christmas.. isn't that terrifying? :)

That is quite a collection of costumes. The kids look like they are having a great time.

Ginny, I have eight cats at the moment. One is a foster that I have been giving medication to help him get over an upper respiratory infection. Georgia and Adam are kittens so they stay in the house.

I have a real aversion to 'scary' costumes. I've always told my daughter to focus on the happier ones. Still...it looks like all had fun.

I just like the cute little costumes of the kids and hand out candy at Halloween. God loves all of his children even those who are lost.

They are all so cute, Ginny, but I think I like the header the most! I love it when the parents get involved and dress up, too. Looks like fun!

So many great costumes. That little girl in your header is adorable. Around here they no longer allow Halloween parties in the schools like we always had growing up. I wonder if that's why the adults enjoy it more than the kids. It brings back all those childhood memories of how fun it was

We almost always have one or two grown-ups that come dressed with their little ones. I think they do it for fun.
