Rust Never Sleeps

We came across this old rusted out V.W. Beetle. It had been re purposed as a planter! It kinda looks like the car is one with nature!

So true, rust never sleeps! Rust is slowly covering every inch of the car and nature will grow all over the car too!

it is a shame two old beetles are falling apart. someone would like to have them to work on i bet.. but that said it really looks good in the photo, i love rust, to look at any way.

Glad mother nature tried to help it look better. It is a shame that someone let it get to this stage. You two take care till I return.

Rust is really appreciated by a lot of folk these days. Makes me wonder why I didn't save all my rusty items I had way back when. Oh well, I messed up. Hugs, LJ

Looks like the Beetle is repurposed very nicely! It's gonna look very pretty when the plant covers the car all over!

Thank you for your comment. Kit was found in the premises of my work..just like we found Goro in 2009.

This definitely qualifies as an intriguing find!

Rust has been hard at work on that car. Mother nature seems to be trying to hide rusts handy work :)

That's kind of cool.

I love old rusty things. Barn roofs, old cars. There's one 'parked' near our camper at the ranch and the wild flowers grow up around it making it so pretty!

I once saw an old truck rusted out just like this one, filled with flowers, as a plantar advertising a flower nursery. This one of yours is great. I love rusty old cars.

the rust and greenery make for great photographs

It's a good idea to re-used it as planter. Making it delightful to the eyes instead an eyesore

It looks like a huge planter... very interesting picture. You do take the most interesting pictures, Ginny!

Looks like it is being overtaken. A couple more summers and you won't know it's under there!

What a great photo capture, Ginny. Someone could make that old car shine again with a little TLC.
Wishing you a great day. Glad you enjoyed the Cabbage Patch! lol
