The Skull

This giant skull sits beside the highway. It marks the entrance to the art park. For many years, it was just plain metal. Recently it was painted. Which way do you like it best?

“When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals—one on his right, the other on his left.  Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.”
Luke 23

Interesting but I don’t think I like either one! I guess the colored one is better!

I'm not a fan of skulls and they seem to be everywhere at the moment, but if I have to choose I like the original best.

I never like skulls but I think the original one looks more like a skull. Have a good day and take care, Ginny!

You do find the most unique things. I think I like the painted version better. Gives it a little more character.

It is disturbing...or maybe fabulous. I can't tell!

Wow, that is quite eye catching! The last one reminds me of picasso a little bit :-)

unpainted but I don't care for it either way. it is interesting and it took real talent to create it. as a rule I like pretty things in art and this is not pretty but it is great art.

I am not fond of either. You come up with such amazing things. I look around but don't come up with such neat things as you. hugs, lj
