The Thunder

We had a full moon on Friday. This one is called the Thunder Moon, because July is a month  with plenty of thunder storms. When it first rose, it was mostly obscured by clouds.

Finally, only a few clouds were left.

And then the entire moon appeared in all it's beauty.

I also saw something else at the same time! But you will have to wait for my next post to see it!

I love your moon pictures and never get fed up with them.
We had a blood moon eclipse on Friday and wouldn't you just believe it, there was cloud. We've had clear night skies for weeks but just when we needed it we were let down. lol

What a gorgeous Thunder Moon! Third photo with the whole moon in the dark sky, with no cloud, it looks so regal!

Your moon shots are always amazing! I was told to watch out for the blood moon but it was going to rain and there was no moon nor stars to be seen in the sky.
