The Tigers Are Here!

The Tiger Lilies are all in bloom now!

These berries are called bulbils. They are the developing bulbs. They will fall to the ground and be pollinated. By the way, the bulbs taste like potatoes, and are popular to eat in Japan.

Tyger Tyger, burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye,
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

When the stars threw down their spears
And water'd heaven with their tears:
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the Lamb make thee?

this flowers is aptly named, it does resemble a tiger... as are the big tigers beautiful so are these lilies and I do agree with that beautiful poem that God made both tigers and did it well.
