In The Deep Mid-Winter

We all need Poppies in the sun right about now. And I have just the thing. Light & color.

I read this description in the local paper awhile ago.
"Poppy seeds are as fine as dust, and the petals as delicate as fairy shawls."

Yes, indeed the poppies look so good under the sunlight, I like their bright orange petals!

The poppies are so pretty. I used to grow similar ones years ago,but for some reason they died out.

That is a great quote about the poppy. Your photos are gorgeous! I love the poppy, I don't get to see them that often but they are such a bright, cheerful and happy flower. At least that's how it makes me feel when I see them.

Oh, how pretty! My bed cover is from The Country Door. I bought three different ones some years ago and they are all reversible - so six great covers for the price of three.
