Cherry Blossoms

These ornamental cherry blossom trees are on the grounds of our church. Going there a couple days ago to pick up some mail, I just had to snap them!

We passed these two on the way home. You can see how hard the wind was blowing!

Ohhhhhhhh Ginny, what a beautiful sight to behold. I don't remember rightly but do those blossoms have a fragrance? Absolutely gorgeous even if they don't. You asked on my blog what "diamond painting" is. Well, it's kind of like a cross-stitch. The picture has a sticky background and you place little "diamonds" (beads) on each color-coordinated square, with a diamond painting "tool". Some kits are called "partial drill" because you don't cover the whole picture with beads, only some places. Other kits are called "full drill" because you cover the whole picture. They call the little diamonds or beads "drills"... for whatever reason I don't know. There's YouTube videos about diamond painting so look some up if you have a hankering. But no paint involved. :-) Love, Andrea xoxo

Oh they are so beautiful. I love cherry blossoms! When the wind blows and petals fly in the air - that creates one of the most beautiful scenes!

Those are so beautiful. They are almost bigger than your beautiful church.
Your seasons are different than ours - we have had our cherry blossoms already and they have gone!

They are lovely. We have some around town here in different places, some go into bloom earlier and some a bit later. Over the years of walking around town with my camera, I've come to learn which to check first :)
