The Answer!

I found out what the green porch lights mean, thanks to several of YOU guys! And my BFF Blog friend Sandra, the Mad Snapper, who researched it. Here is the answer:

“Green Light a Vet” is a campaign sponsored by Walmart and other military support organizations to raise awareness for veterans, service members and their families. The idea is to display a green light on a porch or in a window that faces the street.

 And now we know!!

In war, there are no unwounded soldiers.

Hi Ginny,
We have a green porch light on 24/7 for our Sam who is Wisconsin National Guard.

I wanted to let you know that pink LEGO in the photo, the storage bin is at the LEGO store at the Mall of America. The Mall of America has an amazing LEGO store.
Have a blessed day Ginny.

Wow! I haven't seen any around here, but we haven't been out at night for weeks. When this virus season passes, I will be prepped to recognize significance of green lights. I have seen a lot of blue lights on houses pre-lockdown, but the only thing I know for sure is they are not likely to advertise a blue-light special!

I'm happy to know that. Thank you Ginny, Sandra and Walmart for this. Our Veterans need all the support and recognition we can give them. So true that quote you used today.
