At the crack of dawn on Sunday, the women came to
the tomb carrying the burial spices they had prepared. They found the entrance
stone rolled back from the tomb, so they walked in. But once inside, they
couldn’t find the body of the Master Jesus.
The angel spoke to the women: “There is
nothing to fear here. I know you’re looking for Jesus, the One they
nailed to the cross. He is not here. He was raised, just as he
said. Come and look at the place where he was placed.
