“Green Light a Vet” is a campaign sponsored by Walmart and other military support organizations to raise awareness for veterans, service members and their families. The idea is to display a green light on a porch or in a window that faces the street.
And now we know!!
In war, there are no unwounded
soldiers.

Leave it to Sandra - right?
How cool to know that - I had NO IDEA!
Awesome.
You learn something new every day.
Thanks for the information. Have a blessed Sunday.
Hmmm. I have a green light bulb. Maybe I'll place one on OUR porch. Thanks for posting this info.
I have seen blue lights here, 2 homes in our neighbohood, that means supporting our police officers.. I like the green best. this is a beauiful photo
Well, I am glad to know...I did not even think about googling it.
I wasn't aware of this. It's good to know.
Hi Ginny,
We have a green porch light on 24/7 for our Sam who is Wisconsin National Guard.
I wanted to let you know that pink LEGO in the photo, the storage bin is at the LEGO store at the Mall of America. The Mall of America has an amazing LEGO store.
Have a blessed day Ginny.

I had no idea. Cool beaners.
I did not know that! Awesome!
I hope you had a nice Sunday!
Very interesting, thanks for letting us know.
Take care and be well
Thank you for the information and it’s a great way to show support for the veterans!
Thanks for this update.
Wow! I haven't seen any around here, but we haven't been out at night for weeks. When this virus season passes, I will be prepped to recognize significance of green lights. I have seen a lot of blue lights on houses pre-lockdown, but the only thing I know for sure is they are not likely to advertise a blue-light special!
I have never heard of this but what a splendid idea. It makes me like those green lights even more now.
I'm happy to know that. Thank you Ginny, Sandra and Walmart for this. Our Veterans need all the support and recognition we can give them. So true that quote you used today.
